SOFTWARE SUPPORTED (Apple Mac OSX)
ADOBE ACROBAT PRO or ADOBE READER (PDF)
- PDF documents should be saved in high resolution (min 300dpi)
- Images and fonts should be imbedded and outlined before PDF creation
- Please contact our Technical Dept regarding issues such as bleed and trims
- Be aware that PDFs cannot be altered, so all criteria to make print ready should be met
ADOBE INDESIGN CS5
- All linked images should be CMYK
- Use high resolution images where possible
- Include or outline all used fonts where possible
- CS5.5 documents should be Exported in the .idml option to comply with CS5 compatibility
- Please choose the File Menu > Package command to collect all the associated files into one folder which can be compressed
ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR CS5
- Include or outline all used fonts where possible
- Include embedded images where possible
- Embedded or linked images should be a minimum of 300dpi CMYK .eps or .tif formats
ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS5
- Photoshop files should be a minimum of 600dpi CMYK or Greyscale
- Must include fonts if type layers are used
TIPS ON SUPPLYING ARTWORK
We can accept files in the following methods and media…- CD
- DVD
- Email (for files up to 50MB)
- Via a public File Transfer Protocol (FTP) such as YouSendIt or MobileMe
- Via your own FTP link
EMAIL (Files should be no larger than 50MB)
- Files should be compressed or zipped using typical software such as Stuffit (MAC) or WinZip (PC)
- Compressing files serves to protect the identity of files before transmission
- Unzipping or unstuffing files also alerts us when photo image files have been corrupted in transit
